They are useful snails in the world of one piece. They can be used as phones, fax machines, visual aid, etc. They are extremely helpful for big organizations to keep in contact with each other from long distance. They keep in different sizes, shapes, and colors. They tend to transform into a representation of the person calling. A physical representation is not the only one available, but also the way a person talks and their emotions. Normally they are wild creatures that have the receivers and buttons attached to them once captured.

Just like any other animal they have their own emotions and need food to keep on living. Treat them nice and they do not mind being tamed by a person. If they do not like you than they will give you a hard time. They are amphibious creatures that work underwater, but not in extreme cold. If the snail is sick than they cannot work.

Purchase a Den Den Mushi here before acquiring them in a story line. How you acquire them is up to you, just purchase them first.

Golden Den Den Mushi	A Den Den Mushi made entirely out of gold, it is a special type of Den Den Mushi only available to marine Admirals and the Fleet Admiral upon promotion. It is used to innate the Buster Call, which attacks a target with 10 warships and 5 marine Vice Admirals.		N/A
Silver Den Den Mushi	It is only located at Marine Headquarters. It receives the signal from a Golden Den Den Mushi once a Buster Call has been initiated.		N/A
Surveillance Den Den Mushi	There are two different sizes for these type. A small one attached with an antenna on its shell. They send out a signal to the larger surveillance Den Den Mushi which than displays the image. Can only broadcast on a single island.		200,000,000(Large) 50,000,000(Small)
Visual Den Den Mushi	Similar to a surveillance Den Den Mushi has two types of sizes. The small ones are like a camera and send a signal to the larger one which portraits the image. White Den Den Mushi	Used as an attachment to a regular Den Den Mushi to prevent calls from being wiretapped by someone with a black Den Den Mushi.		500,000,000
